Leadman & Associates is seeking a Payroll Specialist to handle all payroll matters for a client at their Birmingham, AL location. You will report to the Director of Human Resources.

In this role, you will:

  • Work with their Payroll Program (Paychex/Paychex Flex) to create and maintain all payroll information and records for multiple states
  • Input new hires into the payroll system and terminate employees from the system as needed
  • Review and maintain employee time for reconciliation and accuracy
  • Field questions/issues regarding Paychex, clocking in/out, missed punches, account creation and login, timecard punches, etc.
  • Input vacation and sick time into the system and verify accuracy

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 3-5+ years of payroll experience, with ability to handle payroll independently
  • Experience working with 175-250+ employee count over multiple states
  • Experience with Paychex is a plus
  • Open to any industry
