SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The Senior Salesforce Administrator is an expert in managing and optimizing Salesforce systems and products. Leveraging a strong repertoire of skills and experience, the Sr Administrator provides leadership in design, development, testing, and deployment of Salesforce solutions in a production environment. The Sr Administrator will need to understand and assess the impact of new requirements on the Salesforce environment including upstream and downstream applications, systems, and processors. As primary configurator, the Sr Administrator is responsible for handling all roadmap items regarding declarative automation, lightning components, declarative APEX implementation, and other configurations.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Lead design, development, testing and deployment of Salesforce solutions including custom objects, fields, formulas, flows, validation rules, triggers, and reports.
  • Design, implement, modify, and maintain Flows and other declarative programs.
  • Manage the declarative aspects of AppExchange products.
  • Implement automation for complex business processes.
  • Provide guidance and oversight for security and integrity of the Salesforce system such as user profiles, roles, permissions, sharing rules, and groups.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
  • Monitor and optimize performance and functionality of Salesforce systems and products.
  • Identify opportunities to incorporate the latest Salesforce features, best practices, and industry trends in a production environment.
  • Other design, development, and programming duties as assigned.
  • Other IT-related duties and responsibilities as requested.




Requirements:

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position has no direct supervisor responsibilities.

TRAVEL:

NAA is located in Arlington, VA, and employees will be expected to work in the office 2-3 days per week.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 4+ years in Salesforce administration role with strong track record of defining and delivering successful enhancements
  • Salesforce certification: Salesforce Administrator
  • Proficiency in the SFDC Development Cycle and with Salesforce Flows
  • Demonstrated experience with declarative Apex code
  • Proficient in SQL
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to articulate the impact of product features on business objectives
  • Ability to work autonomously and take decisive action with minimal guidance

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Salesforce certification: Salesforce App Builder
  • Experience with Salesforce Account Engagement (Pardot), Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Communities/Experience Cloud, and Digital Experiences
  • Experience working with associations and Association Management Systems, specifically Nimble
