We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ServiceNow System Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize our client's ServiceNow environments. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of the ServiceNow platform, including experience with system upgrades, patching, technical troubleshooting, and customer support. The role requires coordination with various teams and adherence to change management processes. , the successful candidate will possess a solid methodology for requirements gathering and documentation. This is a full-time position that requires US citizenship and the ability to work flexible hours within US time zones. This is a prospecting role for future hires.


System Maintenance:

  • Perform upgrades for all ServiceNow instances in line with ServiceNow release cycles, including preparation, testing, and bug fixes for both production and non-production environments.
  • Prepare and manage Upgrade/Patch Notes and Upgrade/Patch Packages, documenting fixes, changes, enhancements, and other relevant details.
  • Interface with ServiceNow Customer Support and utilize Hi-Wave for technical assistance.
  • Adhere to client's change management processes during the upgrade and patching of the Production environment.
  • Ensure all required documentation, including technical release instructions, scripts, and schedules, is accurately prepared and submitted.

System Management:

  • Manage and maintain data connections and configurations with Service Graph Connectors (SGCs) for systems such as MECM, JAMF, SolarWinds, Tenable, and BigFix.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve data quality, functional, and connectivity issues.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for data integration and system functionality.

Deliverables:

  • Upgrade/Patch Notes: Due three (3) business days before a scheduled upgrade/patch.
  • Upgrade/Patch Package: Due three (3) business days after a scheduled upgrade/patch.
  • Ensure deliverables are complete, accurate, legible, and adhere to applicable formats and standards.
  • Revise and resubmit any rejected deliverables within two (2) business days.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree technical disciplines or related field, or an equivalent of education and experience.
  • 3-7 years of relevant work experience
  • ServiceNow Certified Service Administrator (CSA)
  • At least one of the following Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) credentials: (ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, SPM, APM)
  • Working knowledge of agile/scrum methodologies and user-centered design principles.
  • Experience with ServiceNow Government Community Cloud and Hi-Wave support.
  • Prior experience working with US Federal Government agencies.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with technical and business requirements.
  • Strong client interface skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
  • Comprehensive understanding of the ServiceNow platform and its ecosystem.
  • Experience in integrating ServiceNow with other technologies and managing instances across development, testing, and production environments.
  • Experience in architecting and implementing ServiceNow solutions.
  • Proven experience as a ServiceNow System Administrator or in a similar role.
  • Strong technical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Additional/Multiple ServiceNow credentials (ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, SPM, APM) preferred.
  • Agile Certification
