Position Available: Outside Sales Representative for Connecticut Territory

Responsibilities:

  • Drive Sales: Present and sell our products and services to design professionals in the assigned territory.
  • Sales Calls: Conduct 10-15 sales calls per week, including presentations to key contacts showcasing new products and discussing current project needs.
  • Client Updates: Perform 5-10 “bird calls” weekly to update and maintain client libraries.
  • Sales Goals: Take responsibility for achieving individual sales targets.
  • Client Relationships: Seek out and establish new client relationships.
  • Manufacturer Visits: Manage and schedule all manufacturer visits, providing a summary during weekly team meetings.
  • Project Reporting: Identify “Top 10 Projects” and report on progress in weekly meetings.
  • CRM Notes: Maintain accurate and clear notes in the CRM for all weekly meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of sales experience in high-end furnishings and textiles.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the furniture industry is advantageous.
  • Sales Success: Proven and verifiable track record of sales success, including expanding customer base and increasing sales.
