Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Analyst, Origination, to join our Strategy and Portfolio Management team. Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Strategy and Portfolio Management, the Analyst will support the identification and evaluation of new business opportunities through market research, financial analysis, and the development of strategic partnerships.


Key Job Responsibilities

  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive dynamics in the clean energy and real estate sectors, providing insights to inform origination strategies.
  • Opportunity Assessment: Assist in identifying and evaluating potential business opportunities that align with Radial Power's mission and growth objectives.
  • Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain financial models to support the valuation, pricing, and financial analysis of distributed energy projects.
  • Proposal Development: Assist in the preparation and presentation of proposals, including the development of technical and financial models, ensuring alignment with client needs and organizational capabilities.
  • Deal Support: Assist in the negotiation and structuring of commercial agreements and other business arrangements, ensuring alignment with Radial Power's strategic and financial objectives.
  • Pipeline Management: Help develop and maintain a robust pipeline of potential projects and business opportunities, tracking progress and ensuring timely follow-up and execution.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams, including project development, finance, legal, and operations, to ensure seamless transition from origination to execution and integration.
  • Performance Monitoring: Develop and implement performance metrics and reporting mechanisms to monitor the progress and success of origination activities.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by leveraging insights and lessons learned from origination activities to refine strategies, processes, and practices.


Requirements:

Required Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field;

Required Experience

  • 1-3 years of experience in business development, origination, corporate development, or related roles within the renewable energy or real estate sectors.

Other Skills

  • Strong analytical skills, with experience in financial modeling, valuations, and risk assessments.
  • Understanding of clean energy technologies, market dynamics, and regulatory environment, with the ability to assess strategic opportunities and risks.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with diverse stakeholders and facilitate collaboration.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with financial modeling software/tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and quality in all work.
  • Commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship, with a passion for driving positive change and contributing to the transition to a low-carbon economy.
  • Flexibility to travel as needed to engage with clients, partners, and project sites.
