Join us an Investment Banking Analyst in support of our dynamic Leveraged Finance team. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting the execution of complex financing transactions, including leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, and refinancing. You will collaborate closely with senior bankers, clients and other stakeholders to analyze financial data, structure deals and prepare detailed presentations.

To be successful as an Investment Banking Analyst, you should have experience with:

  • Loan structuring
  • Underwriting
  • Preparation of various pitch material for corporate clients and financial sponsors (M&A, LBO, refinancing, and recapitalizations)

    • Excellent quantitative, written and spoken skills

      This role is located in New York, New York.

      This role is regulated by FINRA.

      Minimum Salary: 110,000

      Maximum Salary: 135,000

      The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any another type of compensation or benefits that may be available.

      Purpose of the role

      To raise capital and manage the financial risk of clients, including financial advisory services, identification and origination of market opportunities, research, economic analysis.

      Accountabilities

    • Development and maintenance of strong relationships with corporate, financial and institutional clients to understand their financing needs and objectives. .
  • Development and maintenance of complex financial models to assess the value of assets, companies, or securities and identify the most appropriate structuring of capital raising initiatives, including equity financing via an initial public offerings, investment grade debt underwriting, leveraged financing solutions for non-investment grade clients, or derivative hedging solutions. .
Collaboration with Coverage, M&A, Syndicate, Global Markets, and cross functional teams to ensure successful origination, company due diligence, and execution of various capital market transactions. . Identification, assessment, and management of risks associated with capital markets transactions and development of risk mitigation strategies in alignment with regulatory requirements. . Research, financial data analysis and continued development of market insights and investment recommendations. .

Demonstrate understanding of how areas coordinate and contribute to the achievement of the objectives of the organisation sub-function. Make evaluative judgements based on the analysis of factual information, paying attention to detail. Resolve problems by identifying and selecting solutions through the application of acquired technical experience and will be guided by precedents. Guide and persuade team members and communicate complex / sensitive information. Act as contact point for stakeholders outside of the immediate function, while building a network of contacts outside team and external to the organisation.
