Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage directly in the origination, structuring, execution, and distribution of securitization transactions across various asset classes, including Trade Receivables, Auto, and Infrastructure (covering Air, Rail, and Shipping).
  • For securitization transactions funded through Crdit Agricole CIB's Asset Backed Commercial Paper Conduit or those on the bank's balance sheet, responsibilities include: (i) preparation of marketing and financing documents; (ii) portfolio analysis and monitoring; (iii) coordination with legal, accounting, and tax advisors; (iv) assisting in the credit application preparation and approval process; (v) managing the booking process in banking systems and document submissions in repository systems; (vi) producing reports as required by management and other stakeholders.
  • For Term ABS and Private Placement transactions, daily tasks encompass: (i) crafting comprehensive pitch books; (ii) constructing financial models and analyzing outputs; (iii) supporting negotiations for debt securities (144a or Private Placements) and developing associated financing documents; (iv) conducting research and analysis of comparable transactions; (v) participating in client meetings; (vi) collaborating with third-party consultants (e.g., valuation firms, market consultants), legal, accounting, and tax advisors, and rating agencies; (vii) performing risk analysis to identify asset-specific, industry-related, and macroeconomic factors impacting planned Capital Markets or Asset Backed Commercial Paper transactions; (viii) drafting Information Memoranda for Capital Markets debt placements; (ix) coordinating and participating in Capital Markets roadshows; and (x) preparing internal materials such as underwriting and sales memos.
Management and Reporting

Each task necessitates strong collaboration with other members of the Securitization group.

Candidate Criteria

Minimal Education Level

Bachelor's Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent

Experience

Prior experience in securitization and a degree in quantitative finance are advantageous.

Required Skills

  • Strong work ethic with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating sound judgment.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, capable of applying theoretical knowledge of Corporate Finance and Fixed Income securities to practical situations.
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills.

Technical Skills Required

Proficiency in understanding and constructing financial models, particularly cash flow models.

Advanced knowledge of Excel (familiarity with Macros is a plus), PowerPoint, Word, Bloomberg, and MS Access is beneficial.
