Corporate Origination Analyst

Overview:

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Engage directly in the origination, structuring, execution, and distribution of Securitization transactions across various asset classes, including but not limited to Trade Receivables, Automotive, and Infrastructure (covering Air, Rail, and Shipping).
  • For Securitization transactions funded through Crédit Agricole CIB's Asset Backed Commercial Paper Conduit or those on the bank's balance sheet, daily responsibilities encompass: (i) drafting marketing and financing documentation; (ii) portfolio analysis and monitoring; (iii) liaising with legal, accounting, and tax advisors; (iv) assisting in the preparation and approval of credit applications for transactions; (v) coordinating the booking process within banking systems and submitting documents to repository systems; (vi) participating in and generating reports as required by management and other internal or external stakeholders.
  • For Term ABS and Private Placement transactions, daily tasks include: (i) crafting comprehensive pitch books; (ii) developing financial models and analyzing their outputs; (iii) aiding in the negotiation of terms and conditions for debt securities (144a or Private Placements) and creating the associated financing documentation; (iv) conducting research and analysis of comparable transactions; (v) actively participating in client meetings; (vi) collaborating with third-party consultants (e.g., valuation firms, market consultants), legal, accounting, and tax advisors, and rating agencies; (vii) performing risk analysis to identify asset-specific, industry-related, and macroeconomic factors that could influence planned Capital Markets or Asset Backed Commercial Paper transactions; (viii) drafting Information Memoranda for Capital Markets debt placements; (ix) coordinating and participating in Capital Markets roadshows; and (x) preparing internal documents such as underwriting and sales memoranda.

Management and Reporting:

  • Each task necessitates strong collaboration with other members of the Securitization team.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education:

Bachelor's Degree is required.

Desirable Experience:

Prior experience in securitization and a degree in quantitative finance is advantageous.

Essential Competencies:

  • Strong work ethic, ability to work collaboratively as well as independently, and sound judgment.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the capability to apply Corporate Finance and Fixed Income securities theoretical knowledge to practical scenarios.
  • Excellent writing and presentation abilities.

Skills & Knowledge Requirements:

Proficiency in understanding and constructing financial models, including cash flow models.

Desirable Skills & Knowledge:

Advanced knowledge of Excel (familiarity with Macros is a plus), PowerPoint, Word, Bloomberg, and MS Access is beneficial.
