We are expanding our Home Centers sales team and are looking for an extroverted, highly motivated, and driven Category Coordinator with 2-3 years of sales experience. Job DescriptionPrimary responsibility is to gain 100% market share within your categories, channels and markets and to implement strategic approaches to deliver monthly, quarterly and yearly sales numbers.
- Design and execute strategies that achieve sales growth targets
- Create and implement marketing and merchandising strategies designed to grow market share
- Establish and achieve key metrics for product category specific growth targets
- Implement product knowledge and demonstrate training for internal and customer merchandising executive teams
- Bachelor's Degree in Business/Marketing or related field required
- Proven ability to apply a broad knowledge of sales and marketing strategies for multiple channels
- Demonstrable compelling communication with corporate staff, sales organization & customers
- Proven excellence in development of key metrics and goal setting
- Track record of successful product launches
- Ability to apply theories on business development and structural creation, understanding various models, frameworks, and concepts, and then implementing them in real-world scenarios to drive growth and organizational effectiveness.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Skype, etc).
