What You’ll Do

  • Identify potential customers and generate new business opportunities for the company
  • Make high-volume outbound cold calls to potential clients
  • Contact and qualify potential clients
  • Follow-up with previous contacts (nurture leads)
  • Manage leads through the sales pipeline by setting appointments, following up on leads, and tracking progress toward meeting sales goals.
  • Set appointments and follow up on leads

  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for reaching sales targets
  • Use customer relationship management (CRM) software to manage leads and sales activities
  • Attend conferences and tradeshows to build relationships and generate leads (10% travel)
  • Provide regular reports on sales activities and results to management

Requirements

  • Must be located in the Twin Cities area and willing to work in the office 2 - 3 days / week
  • 2-3 years of experience in B2B software sales (including extensive cold calling)
  • Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable converting cold conversations into new opportunities
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with potential clients
  • Knowledge of sales techniques and strategies
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability to change
  • A desire to work in a fast-paced environment
