Job Description

We are searching for a nonprofit organization dedicated to making a difference in the community by hiring a motivated Fundraising Manager on a part-time, contract basis. This role is ideal for someone passionate about fundraising and keen on utilizing their skills to support meaningful causes and projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fundraising Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies aligned with the organization's mission and goals.

  • Donor Relations: Cultivate relationships with donors, sponsors, and partners to secure financial support and foster long-term engagement.

  • Grant Writing: Research, write, and submit compelling grant proposals to various funding sources to secure grants and funding opportunities.

  • Event Planning: Organize and manage fundraising events, including galas, auctions, and campaigns, to raise awareness and funds for the organization.

  • Financial Management: Oversee the financial aspects of fundraising activities, including budgeting, tracking expenses, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on fundraising progress, donor contributions, and financial performance for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Demonstrated experience in fundraising, donor relations, or related roles within the nonprofit sector.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, or a relevant field. Additional certifications in fundraising are a plus.

  • Skills:

    • Proven track record of successful fundraising campaigns and initiatives.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with donors and stakeholders effectively.

    • Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple fundraising projects simultaneously.

    • Proficiency in CRM software and fundraising platforms.

    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
