Benefits & Wellness Coordinator 

Savannah, GA

 

The Community Choice Financial® Family of Brands is seeking a Benefits & Wellness Coordinator. The Benefits and Wellness Coordinator is responsible for becoming part of a team that is vital to providing the highest level of support and partnership to the entire organization. As a subject matter expert, you will assist our Team Member’s with navigating The Company’s Insurance Benefits and Wellness Programs. As a Benefits liaison you will assist employees with benefits enrollment questions and ensure compliance with required benefit notices and laws. You will be responsible for coordinating, planning, and facilitating health, wellness, and perks programs for employees. You will also help increase employee satisfaction and reduce claim costs by providing accurate benefits information and educating Team Members on effective use.

Responsibilities:
  • Communicate with all employees regarding eligibility, answering benefits-related questions, and researching resolution of claims while ensuring that confidentiality, federal, and state regulations are met.
  • Manage and develop employee perks program.
  • Assist in audits and maintenance of benefits information within the benefits admin systems.
  • Assist in managing annual open enrollment for benefit programs. 
  • Assist employees with Benefit related questions.
  • Determine qualification of a child support order for medical, dental and/or vision coverage and manage approval and documentation of submitted qualifying life event requests.
  • Assist in audits and maintenance of benefits information within Oracle and the benefits admin systems.
  • Reinstate Benefits for Rehires
  • Assist with a comprehensive wellness program.
  • Coordinate, plan, and facilitate health and well-being programs for employees.
  • Develop promotional and publicity plans for wellness programs throughout the organization.
  • Physical demands for this position frequently include: the ability to remain in a stationary position, move about freely inside and occasionally outside of the office, and the operation of mechanical controls, such as a keyboard. 
  • This is a full-time role that requires in-person attendance during normal business hours.  
Qualifications:
  • Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, HR, or related field desired
  • 2 years of human resources/benefits experience is preferred but will consider knowledge from HR focused classes in school
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong professionalism in order to successfully interact with employees and management at all levels
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and be familiar with HIPAA and other regulations pertaining to confidential health information.
  • Ability to establish working relationships with employees, management, and vendors.
  • Strong time management, prioritizing, and organizational skills
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining project professionalism both internally and externally
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
