Position Title: Health and Wellness Coordinator (Registered Dietitian)

Schedule: Monday - Friday with occasional evenings and weekends

Role Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Health and Wellness Coordinator to join our team.

The Health and Wellness Coordinator will oversee all nutrition and wellness initiatives for the account. This role involves customizing, supporting, coordinating, and evaluating wellness programs, as well as providing nutrition education and guidance. Collaboration with the dining service director, regional director, chef, and marketing team is essential to promote corporate nutrition objectives and ensure compliance with relevant nutrition labeling regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and promote Compass Group's food philosophy and wellness initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with nutrition-related regulations, including federal menu labeling laws.
  • Utilize company nutrient analysis software effectively.
  • Actively participate in the account management team.
  • Serve as a nutrition resource, building relationships with internal teams and clients.
  • Maintain brand standards across all wellness projects.
  • Educate operational teams on wellness standards and food allergy management.
  • Stay informed on nutrition trends and communicate relevant information to the team.
  • Collaborate with café managers to ensure proper food identification.
  • Participate in corrective action planning when necessary.
  • Implement a comprehensive Food for Your Well-Being program.
  • Work with the Executive Chef to ensure meals are nutritionally balanced and appealing.
  • Develop a special events calendar in collaboration with the Executive Chef.
  • Provide nutrition workshops for groups as requested.
  • Maintain accurate labeling for nutrition facts and allergens.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Registered Dietitian credential from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) is required.
  • State licensing as applicable is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a registered dietitian is required.
  • Serve-Safe certification is preferred; must obtain within 12 weeks if not certified.
  • Familiarity with nutrition analysis software is preferred.
  • Experience in wellness, culinary, or food service is highly preferred.
  • Ability to travel as needed for account management.
