Located in NW Houston this billion dollar company is looking for someone to assist two other contract administrators with contracts. Must have 10+ years of previous experience to come in and be effective. This is a long term contract position. Will report to the General Counsel.


This position performs a wide range of contractual services throughout the contract life cycle, including the Request for Bid/Proposal phase and contract negotiation, and contract life cycle management.


Essential Functions

Promote, demonstrate, and instill culture in all aspects of the business

Review, analyze, modify, and negotiate contracts and contract modifications to achieve acceptable levels of risk in a highly competitive market environment

Advise on the Company’s exposure with respect to the execution of a project and in relation to risk with other contractors

Verify contract compliance within Delegation of Authority Process and summarize risks for executive management review and approval.

Provide contractual analysis on the project commercial issues and advise the project management team regarding contract commitments, modifications, amendments, and revisions.

Provide advice, recommendation and interpretation of contract terms, obligations, and risk exposure to the applicable Business Unit management.

Apply advanced skills to identify and independently resolve complex problems related to contract language, procedures, or practices

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree

10+ years’ experience with construction and EPC contracts.

10+ years of litigation and/or dispute resolution experience.

10+ years’ experience as a contract administrator

10 + Experience with Lump Sum projects required.

Paralegal certificate or JD is a plus
