HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICER with Security Clearance

Summary You will serve as a Human Resources Director in the Civilian Human Resources Southeast of Albany Marine Corps Logistics Base, United States Marine Corps. Duties * You will oversee personnel services for Albany as well as services for Parris Island/Beaufort serviced customers. * You will advise servicing activities on human resource management issues to ensure they have well trained, highly motivated and highly productive workforce to support the accomplishment of their mission. * You will serve as a supervisor and plan work to be accomplished by subordinates. * You will facilitate the development of new Human Resources Procedures, approaches and practices to enhance execution of the mission. * You will consult with Headquarters Marine Corps and the Regional Service Center in the resolution of precedent setting issues. * You will participate with management officials in personnel management planning and organizational effectiveness to ensure effective utilization of human resources porgrams. * You will identify program deficiencies and propose corrective or improvement actions. * You will provide advice to serviced activities concerning proposed organizational, personnel and mission changes to determine the potential short and long term impact on personnel needs. * You will participate in the development and execution of activity strategic plans, goals and objectives. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector executing, directing, or managing the delivery of civilian federal human resources (HR) services involving one or more of the following functions: staffing and recruitment, position classification, compensation, labor relations, employee relations, oversight of automated personnel information systems, or employee development; ensuring compliance with governing laws and regulations; developing, interpreting, or advising senior management on human resource policies and administration; or providing input for the strategic planning of human capital resources for an organization..
