Technical Sales Engineer

Our client is the exclusive distributor for ESP fittings & tooling in TX & offshore GOM. Furthermore, our client is the world's most advanced pipe & tube connection that qualifies to ASME B31 pressure piping code. Their business is growing fast with disruptive technology. They are seeking a technical sales engineer to join their growing team.
Responsibilities
- Technical Consultation – Gathering technical information from customers & educating engineers on the capabilities of our unique technology.
- Growing Business Sales - The sales territory will have financial targets for the year. This will be agreed together by the candidate and management. Targeting existing accounts and new accounts.
- Technical Training & Presentations – Training courses and powerpoint presentations will be frequent. Presentation skills will be trained prior to real life customer presentations.
- Influence – Changing the ethos of Fortune 500 organizations using tried and tested sales methodology.
- Other duties as assigned.
As the individual progresses, responsibilities will increase into other facets of business.
Qualifications
- Candidates must have an engineering degree or relevant experience.
- Must be comfortable with travel (local, country, international).
- Candidates must want a career in sales but have minimal to no sales experience.
- Demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset.
Salary: $65k + Sales Commissions
