This leading energy business is seeking a Sales Engineer to join a dynamic team, focusing on the midstream and upstream segments of the energy industry. The Sales Engineer will play a critical role in driving revenue growth by understanding customer needs, presenting technical solutions, and building strong relationships with clients in the oil and gas sector.


Key Responsibilities:

  • a deep understanding of midstream and upstream operations, including production processes, equipment, and industry challenges.
  • and qualify sales opportunities within the midstream and upstream market segments.
  • with the sales team to develop and execute effective sales strategies tailored to meet the needs of midstream and upstream customers.
  • technical presentations and product demonstrations to showcase our solutions and highlight their value proposition.
  • closely with customers to understand their specific requirements and provide customized solutions that address their challenges and objectives.
  • as a technical advisor to customers, offering insights and recommendations to optimize their operations and maximize efficiency.
  • and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in the midstream and upstream sector.
  • feedback to product development teams based on market insights and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
  • updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in the midstream and upstream sectors.


Qualifications:

  • degree in Engineering or related technical field.
  • experience in technical sales or sales engineering roles within the energy industry, with a focus on midstream and/or upstream sectors.
  • technical aptitude and ability to understand complex engineering concepts and solutions.
  • communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
  • thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • and able to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
  • to travel as needed to meet with customers and attend industry events (travel requirements may vary).
