REPORTS TO: President/CEO


OVERVIEW

The HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes and the company GO-TO person for all employee-related issues. People are the most important asset of a company The HR Manager will ensure to focus on these areas, develop and implement recruitment and staffing initiatives, employee relations, performance management, safety training and personal development, and compliance with labor laws.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of Human Capital.
  • Foster positive employee relations and resolve conflicts.
  • Oversee recruitment and staffing processes, including job posting, candidate sourcing, interview management, and onboarding/offboarding.
  • Manage and evaluate the company performance appraisal processes.
  • Maintain all employee records (digital/physical) and ensure legal compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Manage compensation standardsset by the industry to maintain market competitiveness.
  • Manage the administration of company benefits
  • Provide guidance, develop, maintain, and update HR policies and procedures to employees and management.
  • Manage and coordinate the company Safety program/meetings and maintain and monitor all work comp related injuries, OSHA 300 Log compliance and like responsibilities.
  • Coordinate with the Accounting Manager on payroll.
  • Collaborate with other departments and management to drive HR initiatives forward.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years as an HR Manager or similar senior HR role.
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certifications required.


REQUIRED JOB SKILLS

  • Proven work experience in HR
  • People-orientated and results-driven
  • Ability to architect HR strategy along with leadership skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in HR information systems, payroll, and benefits administration
  • Thorough knowledge of HR laws and regulations.
  • Excellent active listening
