Accounting Manager

Our client in Marlboro, MA is looking to bring on an Accounting Manager. This is a direct hire opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of the month, quarter, and year-end close.
- Prepare materials for presentation to the Board of Directors, management teams and external stakeholders.
- Provide accounting support for special projects and ad-hoc reporting and analysis as necessary.
- Daily reviewing and recording of bank transactions.
- Focus on reconciling cash, capital assets, and enter/reconcile general journal entries.
- Review, recommend changes, and enforce all accounting policies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 6+ years of relevant accounting experience in manufacturing cost accounting environment
- Effective communication skills: interpersonal, listening, oral, written, and presentation.
- Expereince using SAP, Microsoft Office, including Word, and PowerPoint.
- Thorough understanding of cost accounting principles and procedures.
