You Are:

An experienced and dynamic sales professional with a strong technical background and a passion for fostering relationships and driving business growth. You thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and have a proven track record of managing and growing key accounts, particularly within the EDA market. Your communication skills are exceptional, enabling you to interact effectively with executives, engineering management, and financial staff at all levels. You are strategic, analytical, and possess the ability to navigate complex technical sales processes, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term business success.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Serving as the primary account manager for major business units in the selected account.
  • Acting as the primary technical sales contact for specific technologies.
  • Collaborating with Global Account Managers, Sales Managers, TSSM’s, Executive Account Managers, Applications Consultants, Corporate Applications Engineers, Marketing, and R&D to achieve account team objectives.
  • Engaging in account planning, project management, forecasting, lead generation, prospecting, qualifying, and delivering sales presentations and proposals.
  • Driving and coordinating technical resources to address and understand customer verification challenges and needs.
  • Developing solution proposals, managing the complete sales opportunity process, and closing business with customers.
  • Building long-term business opportunities with global customers by creating close relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Coordinating the preparation of written proposals and interfacing with internal organizations such as business units, legal, finance, and order processing to close business.
  • Developing and directing complex technical sales plans, which may involve competitive displacements or creative business solutions to meet or exceed pre-established quotas and account initiatives.

The Impact You Will Have:

  • Driving significant revenue and booking goals for Synopsys through effective account management.
  • Enhancing Synopsys' market position by expanding business with existing and new customers.
  • Fostering strong relationships with key executive and technical managers within customer accounts.
  • Acting as a liaison between customers and internal teams to ensure customer requirements are met and satisfaction is achieved.
  • Identifying and capitalizing on growth opportunities within the EDA market.
  • Contributing to the development of innovative solutions that address customer needs and challenges.

What You’ll Need:

  • BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical selling or business development within the EDA market.
  • Strong understanding of EDA tools, flows, and methodologies.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage and close complex technical sales campaigns.
