This includes pricing strategy discussion, preparation of written quotes, price negotiations, new opportunity development and enablement, increasing sales with new established accounts, preparing quarterly reviews, as well as forecasting sales. You will coordinate technical support to develop and support specific account strategies with direct factory interface.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, other duties may be assigned: The Sr. Account Manager will be responsible for assisting in the development of existing and emerging customer opportunities as well as the day to day management and communications with customer and factory to follow up on issues such as customer requests for production WIP status, expedites, drawing requests, tracking die releases vs. forecast, monitoring cycle times or fast tracks and basic engineering information. The Sr. Account Manager will have the ability to collect basic information from factories or customer regarding assembly or test instructions. The Account Manager will work as a part of a team, led by the Sales Manager, and is expected to actively support the development and execution of a mutually agreed upon strategy for the engagement and growth of the customer accounts assigned. This position requires you to have a positive service attitude, be highly motivated and have good problem solving and organizational skills. You need to have the ability to work in a team environment and have a general understanding of the assembly and test flows. You must and project a professional and customer service oriented image.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: ASE prefers a BS degree and/or 8-10 years of sales experience, with a strong understanding of the IC assembly and test process in the semiconductor industry. Candidates must manage key accounts and have strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Must enjoy working with people and be able to make sales presentations and proposals. Good organizational and computer skills with the ability to summarize weekly activity in report format will be a requirement for this position.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Must have excellent written and oral communication skills. Fluent in English and good communication skills are required, fluency in Mandarin is a plus.

COMPUTER/SOFTWARE SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE: Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Must have basic math skills.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and must be flexible. COMPENSATION: Base salary range for this full-time position is $105,000 to $125,000. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and various factors, including job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions.

Please note that base pay is only one component of total compensation at ASE (U.S.) INC. We also offer a competitive performance based annual bonus program and a comprehensive benefits packages, including medical, dental and vision coverage; 401(k) with company match; short-term and long-term disability coverage; basic life insurance; paid vacation time & sick leave etc. Other incentive programs may apply dependent on position, qualification, and business conditions.
