This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, outstanding Excel skills, project management expertise, and strong interpersonal skills to navigate complex integration challenges. This individual will report directly to the Chief Strategy Officer with broad senior-level exposure across the organization, board of directors, and private equity firm.

As the Strategy and Corporate Development Specialist, you will

  • Assist Chief Strategy Officer on a wide range of strategy and “value creation” projects.
  • Assist in developing internal manager goals and track results.
  • Develop and quantify the impact of new sales initiatives.
  • Create presentations for key stakeholders (incl. private equity firm).
  • Use data and analytics to develop and validate strategies to increase sales, manage costs, and improve overall transparency and visibility.
  • Assist in sourcing, assessing, and evaluating potential merger and acquisition opportunities that align with the company's strategic goals and growth objectives.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence on potential acquisition targets, identifying risks, opportunities, business process flows, and integration requirements.
  • Develop and execute integration strategies that optimize value-creation opportunities across all aspects of the acquired businesses.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop detailed integration plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Serve as a central point of contact for communication and coordination between IAFD and the acquired businesses for integration matters.
  • Assist in managing organizational changes resulting from the acquisition, including restructuring, realignment of roles, and implementing change management strategies.
  • Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators to track the progress of integration efforts and identify areas for optimization.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with the integration process, including legal, regulatory, financial, and operational challenges.

To be successful in the role you must possess:

  • An MBA or equivalent is preferred or a bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in private equity, mergers and acquisitions, integration management, or strategic consulting roles.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage complex, cross-functional initiatives from conception to execution.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building strong relationships and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive for solutions.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with high flexibility and adaptability.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and project management tools.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to support integration activities.
