Job Overview

DXP Enterprises is seeking a highly skilled Corporate Development Manager to join our Corporate office in Houston, TX. As a key member of our Corporate Development (CD) Department, you will provide analytical support to key growth initiatives across our three business segments and five product divisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct internal financial reviews of DXP Enterprises to identify areas for improvement and growth.
  • Perform ad-hoc financial and business analysis to inform strategic decisions.
  • Develop and maintain financial models and research reports to support corporate development initiatives.
  • Communicate complex financial information and strategic issues to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Assist in the creation and prioritization of the deal pipeline, and support through all transaction gates and approval processes.
  • Conduct strategic fit, business opportunity analysis, and competitive landscape assessments to inform investment decisions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, investors, and partners.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in investment banking, private equity, management consulting, or a relevant M&A transaction environment.
  • Strong analytical, comprehension, and problem-solving skills, with an emphasis on verbal and written communication skills.
  • Acquisition purchase and integration experience, with a strong understanding of financial modeling and valuation analysis.
  • Excellent writing, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Self-starting, team player with the ability to excel in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, high-performance work environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics, with a strong academic record and relevant coursework.
