Adams & Martin Group is seeking a Contracts Paralegal to support a company in Minneapolis on a temporary basis. This is a hybrid role that is anticipated to last 3+ months. Your responsibilities will include:

Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, including vendor agreements, subcontracts, service agreements, and NDAs.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry regulations in all contracts.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, including legal, procurement, and finance, to ensure contracts align with business objectives.
  • Manage the contract lifecycle from initiation to execution, including amendments and renewals.
  • Maintain a contracts database, ensuring all contracts are organized, up-to-date, and easily accessible.
  • Monitor contract performance, including tracking key milestones and deliverables.
  • Address and resolve contract-related issues and disputes promptly and effectively.
  • Provide guidance and support to business teams on contract terms and conditions.
  • Prepare reports and summaries on contract status, risks, and key metrics for management review.

Position Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in contracts law
  • Understanding of various contract laws, regulations, and procedures at the federal, agency, and local levels, related to government contracting and project administration.
  • Strong understanding of contract law, terms, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple contracts and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
