Bankruptcy Attorney

We are seeking a highly skilled Bankruptcy Attorney to join our dynamic legal team at Jobot. As a Bankruptcy Attorney, you will be responsible for representing clients in all stages of bankruptcy proceedings, including counseling, negotiation, litigation, and resolution of disputes.

• Represent clients in bankruptcy proceedings, including counseling, negotiation, litigation, and resolution of disputes.
• Handle adversary proceedings, including preference, fraudulent transfer, and non-dischargeable actions.
• Provide legal advice to clients on bankruptcy, insolvency, and restructuring matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents related to bankruptcy and insolvency proceedings.
• Represent creditors in protecting their rights and maximizing their recoveries.
• Provide legal advice on commercial litigation matters, including contract disputes, business torts, and other commercial disputes.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in bankruptcy law and advise clients accordingly.
• Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to provide exceptional client service.

• Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the state bar.
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in Bankruptcy Litigation, Creditor's Rights, Commercial Litigation, insolvency issues, bankruptcy cases, adversary proceedings, and Chapter 7, 11, and 13 bankruptcy cases.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to resolve disputes effectively.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
• Demonstrated commitment to professional ethics and client confidentiality.
• A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
