Position Overview
As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, building strong customer relationships, and ensuring the overall success of the company's retail food operations within a specific geographic region.
Lead Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy
- Develop and implement regional sales strategies aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and trends.
- Analyze sales data to identify areas for growth and optimization.
Customer Relationships
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail customers, including grocery chains, convenience stores, and wholesalers.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to ensure favorable terms.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to enhance customer satisfaction.
Revenue Growth
- Drive revenue growth through effective sales execution, new business development, and account management.
- Set and achieve ambitious sales targets within the assigned region.
- Identify and pursue new market opportunities to expand the company's reach.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., marketing, operations, finance) to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.
- Coordinate with regional teams to optimize sales efforts and resource allocation.
Desired Skills and Experinece:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales within the retail food industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of the retail food market, including customer trends, competitive landscape, and industry regulations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA or advanced degree in a related field.
- Experience with foodservice distribution or manufacturing.
- Knowledge of sales automation tools and CRM systems.
