Position Overview

As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, building strong customer relationships, and ensuring the overall success of the company's retail food operations within a specific geographic region.


Lead Responsibilities:


Sales Strategy

  • Develop and implement regional sales strategies aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and trends.
  • Analyze sales data to identify areas for growth and optimization.

Customer Relationships

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail customers, including grocery chains, convenience stores, and wholesalers.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to ensure favorable terms.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to enhance customer satisfaction.

Revenue Growth

  • Drive revenue growth through effective sales execution, new business development, and account management.
  • Set and achieve ambitious sales targets within the assigned region.
  • Identify and pursue new market opportunities to expand the company's reach.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., marketing, operations, finance) to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.
  • Coordinate with regional teams to optimize sales efforts and resource allocation.


Desired Skills and Experinece:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales within the retail food industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong understanding of the retail food market, including customer trends, competitive landscape, and industry regulations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or advanced degree in a related field.
  • Experience with foodservice distribution or manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of sales automation tools and CRM systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
