The Opportunity:

Our client is a global industrial sand supplier (mining-silica) who has been in business for more than 40 years. They currently have a need for an Electrical Maintenance Associate- Electrician to join their organization.

This person will be responsible for planning, implementing and overseeing our client’s electrical maintenance needs including, repair, inspections, installations, troubleshooting and performance of plant-based equipment and motors up to 200hp.


What you'll be doing:

· Managing all aspects of the electrical manufacturing equipment.

· Basic welding

· Preparing electrical workflows, inspections and installations when needed.

· Trouble shooting electrical components to improve performance.

· Ensuring environmental and plant-based compliance.

· Reading blueprints and schematics.

· Conducting risk assessments.

· Enforcing preventative measures

· Electrical wiring & layouts.


What you'll need to be successful:

· High School Diploma

· Strong sense of safety and experience in a MSHA facility.

· Knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices.

· Master Electrician certification preferred.

· Journeyman license or equivalent experience required.

· Experience with welding is a plus.

· Familiarity with codes and standards related to MSHA, OSHA, EPA

· Proficiency in basic math.

· Working knowledge of National Electrical codes.

· Strong communication abilities.

· Electrical experience in an industrial plant-based environment.

· Good time-management skills
