Your Role:
The Facilities Maintenance Supervisor will oversee the maintenance planning and reliability of our operations. This role involves leading, training, and mentoring the maintenance team, with a strong emphasis on adhering to safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and train maintenance department personnel.
- Conduct interviews for maintenance roles.
- Ensure the mechanical and electrical systems operate efficiently through regular inspections and timely repairs.
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations and standards.
- Review and prioritize work requests for mechanical and electrical repairs, including safety and work permits.
- Troubleshoot and repair machinery to ensure safe operation.
- Plan, schedule, and execute maintenance projects and programs.
- Lead a technical team through mentoring and coaching.
- Engage in performance evaluations and corrective actions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience, with at least 5 years in a supervisory maintenance role demonstrating progressive leadership.
- Experience in mining and/or oilfield operations is advantageous.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Electrical expertise is essential.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit or stand, reach, and move throughout the facility.
- Frequent lifting of 65 lbs. or more.
- Regular climbing of ladders and stairs.
