Equipment Maintenance Specialist

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, troubleshoot, repair, and ensure the optimal operation of various equipment, including high-speed reciprocating compressors, low-speed compressors, air compressors, pumps, fans, blowers, and additional plant machinery. Execute routine startup and shutdown procedures for individual equipment and processes. Monitor the consumption of utilities, fuel, chemicals, lubricants, and other resources to avoid excessive usage at current processing and production levels. Identify hazardous or emergency situations within the operations and take necessary actions to mitigate risks or safely shut down processes to protect personnel and equipment. Detect malfunctions in equipment and perform maintenance as required to resolve issues. Regularly check and replenish levels of lubricants, fluids, and chemicals to prevent equipment damage.
Utilize MAXIMO to document work orders for routine and major maintenance tasks. Operate field amine and glycol treaters. Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or equivalent is required. A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience is necessary. Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record as per company standards. Strong interpersonal communication skills are essential for effective interaction with various teams, personnel, and vendors. Demonstrated strong work ethic with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, are required. Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays, with the capability to respond to call-outs as needed to meet business objectives. Flexibility to work shifts in plant or field conditions is essential. Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 50 lbs. is required, along with the capacity to work in varying climate conditions.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Able to perform tasks in confined spaces, including kneeling, squatting, sitting, climbing, and standing. Adhere to all applicable Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) guidelines, such as eye protection and appropriate footwear.
REGULAR ATTENDANCE:
Consistent and reliable attendance is crucial.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Five years of experience in operating and maintaining mechanical equipment and processes as outlined in job duties. Familiarity with Waukesha Pearce, Caterpillar 3600/3601, or Ariel Compressors is advantageous.
