Position Summary

Our target customer is anyone seeking Audio/Visual products for the conference needs, meaning it can be anyone from a personally owned business, large corporation, or even government entities
The AV Specialist requires a demonstrated experience selling network services, unified collaboration and communications, and display technology. They will provide data to create sales forecasts and can work with account representatives to develop sales strategies tailored to their geographic territory or vertical market. You will also continually develop target accounts and prospects through sales pipeline development to identify and profile prospects.
Essential Functions:
- Managing and building relationships with existing and new clients to deliver training, knowledge, and probable solutions to any audiovisual pain points
- Responsible for developing and executing quarterly sales plans to expand existing client base and generate new business to grow clients AV offerings
- Develop price quotations and bid responses that are complete, accurate, and profitable
- Prepare contracts and proposals for review by management
- Work with the installation team and Project Coordinator to ensure a smooth transition from sale to installation
- Self-motivated to conduct research surrounding new technologies or fields of study and to help clients problem solve the best way forward in their business’s technology solutions
Position Requirements:
- 3-5 years’ experience in Commercial AV or similar field required
- 2-year degree preferred, but not required for individuals with commercial AV experience.
- Advanced computer skills for a completely paperless/digital workflow
- Ability to thoroughly communicate internally and externally with confidential pricing information
- Demonstrated ability for data accuracy and internal communication while handling confidential pricing
This would be an outside sales position with your home office being located in Carrolton, TX. When you are not working on drafting up proposals and finalizing deals you would be out in the field identifying, communicating with, and closing with clients.
Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Pay:
$60k base, plus uncapped commissions. Commissions are 25% of gross profit of sales, leading to an OTE of $150k in the first year.
