Title: Corporate Controls Engineer (Aveva/SCADA)
Direct Hire Position
No Sponsorship
Location: Wooster, Ohio area – onsite position
Required Skills:
- 6 years' experience within Controls & Automation Engineering; preferable within Food/Beverage, Consumer Goods, etc.
- Strong SCADA experience required; Aveva (Wonderware) preferred
- Must have experience with Allen Bradley PLCs (ControlLogix); advanced ladder logic programming
- Strong HMI Development; Wonderware (Aveva) Archestra strongly preferred
- Solid grasp of Object Oriented Programming principles
- Experience with design/specification of process controls panels
- Advanced experience with process area programming
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- MS Office
- Able to travel up to 25%
Plusses:
- Wonderware MES (or similar MES platform)
- .NET programming
- SQL database/scripting experience
- Experience with Ethernet/IP Communications within a Plant Control System
Education:
- Bachelor's degree required; preferably in Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics
Responsibilities:
Will be tasked with working on controls and automation projects to install new and/or upgrade manufacturing systems. Will provide onsite support. Duties will include Developing, Installing and Commissioning plant controls and automation systems that include PLC programming, HMI development, and MES Data collection. Will develop/adhere to process control standards, and work with 3rd party controls partners.
