Job Description:

The Senior Production Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing various tasks to ensure timely and accurate processing of orders. You will act as a key liaison between our sales, product development, logistics, and production teams, ensuring effective communication and coordination to meet customer needs and maintain production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Email and Vendor Communication: Answer emails and follow up with overseas vendors on order-related details to ensure timely updates and resolution of issues.
  • Order Management: Review Open Order Reports for assigned factories to track order status and address any concerns.
  • Testing Portals Maintenance: Maintain testing portals by uploading reports and certifications required by customers.
  • Work In Progress Charts: Maintain and update work in progress charts to monitor production status and identify potential delays.
  • Purchase Orders: Review and approve Purchase Orders (POs) in NetSuite, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
  • Delay Analysis: Analyze and assess delays from overseas offices and factories, check affected sales orders, and communicate updated due dates to the sales team.
  • Cross-Department Communication: Bridge communication between sales, product development, logistics, and production for special customer inquiries, including testing, packing requirements, and warehouse destinations.
  • Program Set-Up: Complete set-up for new programs, ensuring all requirements are met and processes are established.
  • Sales Coordination: Follow up and communicate with sales regarding your accounts to provide updates and address any issues.
  • Inspection Photos: Review and help approve inspection photos to ensure product quality and compliance.
  • Training: Assist in training new hires to ensure they understand production processes and company policies.
  • Order Reports Review: Regularly review Open Order Reports for assigned factories to track progress and address any issues.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Production Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

·        Minimum of 3 years of experience in production coordination, supply chain management, or a similar role.

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience liaising with international vendors and cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in NetSuite or similar ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to analyze production data and assess delays effectively.
  • Experience with testing portals and maintaining work in progress charts.
  • Knowledge of production processes, quality control, and inventory management.
