Position Responsibilities:
- Design and evaluate alternative components and/or automation strategies for new and existing equipment and processes to improve efficiency, product quality and/or performance, and reduce cost.
- Perform programming of control devices including PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and Servos.
- Design electrical control systems for a wide range of applications
- Perform Root Cause Analysis and implement corrective actions.
Requirements:
The qualified candidate should have:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field.
- 3+ plus years of direct experience as a controls engineer working on automated processes/system integration in a Machinery Manufacturing/Integration Environment
- Experience with PLC programming software a must
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical manuals.
