In this role, you’ll be responsible for: 

 

  • Actively engaging in areas of the market which provide new sales leads and generate increased revenue.  
  • Identifying prospective clients, establishing and developing meaningful relationships aligned with the sales strategy. 
  • Collaborating with the Product Development Team to ensure expertise within Kormax is coordinated to enable the best outcome for each prospect.   
  • Researching, identifying, and evaluating new projects where the company could provide a solution from existing or new products in order to demonstrate the company’s ability to innovate in order to meet sales objectives.  
  • Provide feedback to the Sales Director on new projects or relationship developments.  
  • Maintain sales volume, product mix, and GP levels of Customer Accounts assigned 
  • Provide sound technical advice to customers developing trust in the working relationship.  
  • Remaining abreast of market trends, national standards, and compliance developments.  
  • Collaborating on ideas and concepts to further develop relationships.  
  • Supporting team members and providing backup to colleagues to reduce bottlenecks in workflow and reduce customer impact.  
  • Liaising with the customer service and supply chain teams and providing feedback or clarification on orders to ensure we deliver on our promises.  
  • Actively responding to all customer communication, elevating customer issues to the Sales Director where needed.  

 

 

What you bring: 


  • Relevant Business/Mechanical Engineering Qualification  
  • Proven experience in business development, coupled with an ability to grow others in a sales capacity 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Excellent decision making and problem-solving skills 
  • Ability to use MS Office and other software including CRM's 
  • Humour and a genuine smile. (We work hard, absolutely love what we do, are passionate about our results, but definitely like to have a laugh along the way).
