LHH is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a Direct Hire, Permanent Placement position in Dayton, OH. This is an opportunity to join an industry leader that is adding to their engineering team. The compensation is based on experience and will range from $70,000 to $110,000 per year, in addition to a bonus, comprehensive benefit plans, Paid Time Off, and a 401 (k) plan.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES • Develops effective manufacturing processes by evaluating product requirements and designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment to ensure desired results. • Apply industry knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials and collaborate with production associates. • Identify and resolve process operating problems, investigate equipment failures, draft follow-up action reports, and share technical assistance with workers on the floor. • Conduct root cause analysis of quality issues during the manufacturing process. • Coordinate with operations and management personnel to develop a shared vision for the completion of daily tasks and then report on those activities. • Monitor and improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow while optimizing space and equipment layout. • Identify new and creative solutions to resolve complex issues during the manufacturing process.

QUALIFICATIONS • A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Ceramic, Material Science, Metallurgical, or a related field) is required. • A minimum of 2 years of Process Engineering experience is essential, with previous project management experience being a plus. • Experience in Quality Manufacturing, including statistical analysis, data processing, and lean manufacturing processes, is required. • Proficiency in CAD and drafting/design skills, along with a solid understanding of Engineering Drawings, is essential. • Experience in electrical design and/or PLC is a plus.
