They manage the planning and processes of a project and delegate responsibilities to ensure the project is completed efficiently and successfully.  Job Responsibilities including but are not limited to: 
  • Preparing, scheduling, coordinating and monitoring all assigned projects.
  • Formulating project parameters, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring progress. 
  • Maintaining quality control in every area, including personnel performance, planning, scheduling, and budget.
  • Cooperating and communicating with the managers and other project participants. 
  • Collaborating with maintenance, to create more efficient project methods and to maintain the project's profitability.
  • Submitting reports on project status.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and Refrigeration problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs, as necessary.
  • Reviewing the engineering tasks and initiating the necessary corrective actions.
  • Monitoring compliance in all aspects of the project including the applicable codes, practices, policies, performance standards, and specifications.
  • Coordinating and executing of Factory Acceptance Testing of equipment at BWT workshop prior to delivery and in the presence of a customer/Sylvan. Review of risk assessments and method statements to align with set tasks.
  • Traveling to other locations (domestically and internationally).
 Education, Experience, and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
  • Valid Engineering license.
  • At least 4 years of experience in a project planning.
  • 1-3 years supervisory experience.
  • Excellent organization, time management, leadership and decision-making skills.
  • Experience in electrical engineering and automation (PLC)  Repair electrical control and power wiring, electrical or electronic components such as proximity, photo-eye, pushbutton and limit switches, control circuits and 4-20mA analogue control systems, mechanical power transfer systems such as gear reducers, chain/belt drives, direct drives, bearings, shafts and couplings.
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office Suite.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Knowledge of applicable codes, policies, and best practices.
  • Understanding HVAC, Chillers & AHU refrigeration system.
  • Project Management -Demonstrated project management skills, including the ability to deliver projects on schedule, within budget, and meeting the predefined quality requirements are required.
