Sebia is seeking an experienced individual to join our organization as a Contract Specialist. Reporting directly to the Contracts Manager. The Contract Specialist is responsible for independently managing all contract related activities for the portfolio of contracts with the various US government agencies which includes VA, DOD, state facilities, and the Federal Government.



Responsibilities

  • :Serve as primary contracts administrator performing all contract related activities for portfolio of contracts with the various US government agencies which includes VA, DOD, state facilities, and the Federal Supply Schedule
  • .Manage all change notices, amendments, and close-outs for contracts
  • .Support Request for Information/Proposals/Quotes (RFI/P/Q), to include reviewing the RFI/P/Q to provide guidance to the business on the FAR, DFAR, or other clause impacts, identifying any contractual risks, and writing questions or assumption to clarify those risks
  • .Responsible for the documentation and maintenance of obligated funding amounts with VA contract
  • sCreate and Maintain vendor registrations required for contracting with the various government agencies including but not limited to SAM registration
  • .Gathers information from various subject matter experts (SMEs) within the organization and submits response to RFI/RFP/RF
  • QInteract and communicate as appropriate with finance/accounting and business team disciplines for kickoff meetings, resolution of contract issues, and disputes
  • .Assure compliance with contracting policies and procedures including internal approval and documentation for any new proposal activities
  • .Serve as the focal point for resolving questions regarding compliance with contract terms, government regulations and company policies
  • .Take the lead in drafting narrative content for business proposal
  • sManage relationship with the Customer (Federal) Contracting Officer / Subcontract Administrator to resolve proposal or contract questions and discuss contract modifications
  • .Provide support to develop, review, redline, and negotiate contracts, subcontracts, and modifications, consistent with company policies. Complete negotiations of complex and/or non-standard contracts and agreements
  • .Maintain contract database and associated files
  • .Proactively searches for bid opportunities via online websites or via email notifications
  • .Act as a sales-facing subject matter expert on process, policy, and pricing related matter
  • sParticipate in cross-functional team meetings to implement process improvement effort
  • sCollect required data to create/update account information in ERP and CRM system
  • sProactively work to clean master data in applicable system
  • sManage routine reporting requirements as required. in the contract
