What We’re Looking for

We are looking to bring on an Azure Admin to join our growing consultancy. The Azure Admin will work with clients and other Aftermen to design and build exciting applications for a variety of different clients in different verticals (everything from fintech to healthcare, eCommerce to logistics). The ideal candidate is a self-motivated engineer with experience shipping reliable, performant, scalable, and instrumented services. We are looking for a teammate that enjoys mentoring teammates and working closely with stakeholders and users.


Responsibilities

  • Responsible for networking architecture, including switches, routers, and firewalls
  • Configuring networks, managing virtual networks (VNets) and subnets and establishing communication between resources within the cloud environment
  • Monitor performance and health of services and resources, proactively identifying and addressing issues to ensure optimal performance and availability
  • Optimize resource configurations and usage to minimize costs and enhance efficiency
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.


Qualifications

  • 10+ years of infrastructure experience
  • 5+ years experience as an Azure Administrator
  • Experience working in an Agile or Kanban environment
  • Experience with Cloudflare (preferred)
  • Experience with Azure Door (preferred)
  • Advanced knowledge of distributed software systems (preferred)
