Responsibilities
- Manage the overall performance objectives, contract deliverables, quality control, and the placement of qualified personnel.
- Meet with the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) to review tasks’ workstream status, needs, and risks on a weekly basis or as needed.
- Provide report for and meet with the COR to review tasks’ workstream status and budget updates monthly or as needed.
- Provide the COR and CO budget estimates and updates for individual NICHD portfolios, programs, and/or projects being supported under this contract.
- Work with the COR to facilitate completion of onboarding, offboarding, and training requirements for support staff across task workstreams, as needed.
- Maintain up-to-date inventory of all workstream work products and deliverables and ensure task workstream leads maintain documentation in NICHD Teams Sites as appropriate.
- Meet with NICHD office and division leadership to understand, define, and prioritize portfolio/program/project needs, goals, and success criteria/key performance indicators.
- Help plan and execute stakeholder communications and management activities, including identifying stakeholders, assessing their needs and expectations, and planning and implementing various ways to engage with them.
- Attend relevant meetings and prepare meeting agendas, summaries, presentations, or other documents identified by the COR.
- Proactively reposition staff to support unplanned emergencies, backfill staff out of the office, and address new priorities efficiently and effectively.
- Serve as the main point-of-contact for the CO, COR, and other federal leads including all escalations.
- Coordinate with COR, subject matter experts and/or CO as needed to facilitate information sharing and insight into workstream subject matter best practices, as needed.
- Provide project planning, coordination, and management support at the request of the COR, as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university.
- 7+ years of experience in project management or management consulting in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience working with the federal government, HHS, and/or NIH (preferred)
- Previous experience working in enterprise governance implementation (preferred)
- Previous experience working in risk management (preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple efforts simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
- Superior aptitude for analysis, including quantitative analytical skills and problem-solving
- Position contingent upon contract award.
