The Director of Applications will play a crucial role in leading the design, development, and deployment of comprehensive field service solutions. These solutions aim to streamline operational workflows, enhance customer experiences, and drive business growth.


This role demands a strategic mindset, technical expertise, and strong leadership to deliver scalable, innovative architectures for field service.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of field service solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define solution architecture.
  • Partner with Digital and Customer Applications leadership to create a 2-3 year roadmap and vision for Service Cloud applications.
  • Effectively communicate technical requirements to engineers and business requirements to stakeholders.
  • Monitor industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.


Education and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • More than a decade of experience working with software platforms for field service management.
  • At least seven years of experience in roles such as SFDC project lead or architect, possessing advanced proficiency in the Salesforce platform.
  • Minimum of five years dedicated to implementing Salesforce Service Cloud and Field Service Lightning Applications, with significant contributions to their deployment and enhancement alongside stakeholders and users.
  • Proficient in Agile/Scrum methodologies for software development.
  • Preferably holds certifications in solution architecture, project management, or related fields (e.g., Advanced Administrator, Service Cloud Consultant, Application Architect).
  • Demonstrates excellent communication skills with both internal teams and external stakeholders, proven by a history of successfully implementing field service solutions that yield measurable business benefits.
  • Familiar with Salesforce CPQ, Marketing Cloud, MuleSoft integration, and knowledgeable about emerging technologies such as bots, General AI, and machine learning.
