Job Title: Director of Procurement

Job Summary:

The Director of Procurement is responsible for leading the establishment and management of a centralized procurement department.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design and implement policies and procedures for strategic sourcing, procurement, and compliance
* Develop and manage a centralized procurement team to source and negotiate best price and delivery of products and services
* Collaborate with operations department to ensure supply of sub-contractor vendors
* Ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures

Requirements:

* Minimum of ten years finance and accounting experience in a $200 + million vendor/supplier environment
* Minimum of ten years experience of procurement team management
* Facilities management thinking
* Delegation and communication ability
* Efficiency and cost management focused
* Multiple priority management skills
* Internal customer focus
* Influencing skills
* Able to execute to schedule
* Conflict management ability
* Analytic and problem solving skills
* Ensures that the business has the capability to adapt to changing requirements
* Identifies and promotes new opportunities for the benefit of the business
* Ensures business goals are aligned with the vision and values
* Harnesses the value of diversity and other individual differences
* Provides clarity and focus to employees in a continually shifting environment
* Grows the business by adding higher value products and services that increase competitive advantage

* Bachelors degree required
