Assistant Clinical Director Job Description

At Monte Nido Rosewood, we are seeking an experienced and compassionate Assistant Clinical Director to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in overseeing the admission process, providing effective leadership to our clinical staff, and ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Clinical Director in overseeing the entire admission process and clinical intake process.
  • Provide effective leadership to the clinical staff, ensuring that they have the necessary resources and support to deliver exceptional care.
  • Assist in developing and implementing plans for performance improvement, ensuring that our programs are aligned with the latest research and best practices.
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to develop cost-effective methods to provide service, ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care.
  • Supervise and support the development of our clinical staff, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional care.
  • Facilitate communication with ancillary services, ensuring that our patients receive seamless care.
  • Assist in recruiting and interviewing new employees, ensuring that we attract the best talent to our team.
  • Attend clinical and administrative meetings to share information inter-departmentally, ensuring that our team is aligned and working towards the same goals.
  • Work collaboratively with program leadership to ensure that our programs are aligned with the latest research and best practices.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of administrative and clinical policies and procedures, and the ability to communicate these clearly and accurately to staff.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of emergency procedures, and the ability to communicate these procedures clearly and accurately.
  • Display ability to assist in directing and supervising program activities, ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care.
  • Complete all job duties and timeframes as described by Primary Therapist checklist.
  • Assist in ensuring clinical staff meets educational/licensure requirements.
  • Assist in and prepares for Joint Commission and state audits as needed.
  • Assist in formulating standards for patient care.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in social work, psychology or related services field, preferably knowledgeable in eating disorders.
  • A minimum of 1 year experience with eating disorder clients.
  • Licensed to practice clinical discipline in the appropriate state, as applicable, required.
  • CPR certification required.
