Summary:

We are looking for an experienced sourcing buyer to be responsible OEM component sourcing and procurement activities to support our North America customers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for quoting and buying manufacture machining, Sheetmetal, welding, gas lines and other semiconductor gas delivery components such as valves, regulators, meters, seals, filter, fitting, flange, MFCs, other vacuum components.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing and negotiate component commodities such as machining/sheetmetal parts or raw materials, gas lines, semiconductor OEM components such as valves, regulators, meters, seals, filter, fitting, flange, MFCs, other vacuum components
  • Generates purchase order and inventory report for all purchased components.
  • Working with customers in Asia on order expediting on daily basis.
  • Develop an effective and accurate system for monitoring purchase orders.
  • Review forecasts with key stakeholders (NPI, Production and Procurement), integrating feedback and ensuring forecast alignment.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or similar discipline
  • At least 5 years of experience in buying to support operations in the semiconductor industry. Knowledge of mechanical and electro-mechanical components and manufacturing technologies including forging, stamping, CNC machining, welding, assembly, tooling, sheet metal, gas lines and sub-fab components such as valves, regulators, meters, seals, filter, fitting, flange, MFCs, other vacuum components.
  • Experienced in material demand planning, supply chain management.
  • Communicator and collaborator with Engineering, Quality, Program Management, and Manufacturing teams
  • Proficient with Excel office 365 applications, ERP. Excellent in PPT presentation
  • Experienced in any of the following companies a plus: Applied Materials (AMAT), Lam Research (LRCX), ASMI, KLA, Micron, Intel, TSMC, Global Foundry, TI, UCT, Ichor, Sanmina, Jabil, FM Industries, Kinetic Systems Inc, or other contract manufacturers.
  • Experienced user of Copilot and other AI tools.
  • Adaptive in small company team.
  • Working with customers/suppliers in Asia in later afternoon/evening hours.
