Position Summary for Extruder Operator

The Extruder Operator is tasked with the operation of designated machinery. Responsibilities include ensuring safety, environmental compliance, quality assurance, value addition, team morale, peer performance, and adherence to continuous improvement standards. The operator will collaborate with the machine supervisor to coordinate the daily production schedule.
  • Maintain extruder efficiency at 80% by maximizing uptime, minimizing quality rejects, and promptly addressing issues requiring additional support.
  • Prioritize safety by acting intentionally and proactively identifying potential risks before they escalate into hazards.
  • Uphold cleanliness and organization within the work area, ensuring all necessary tools and resources are readily available.
  • Ensure defect-free production by identifying quality issues early and addressing or escalating them as necessary.
  • Enhance productivity by working with urgency and escalating issues when resources are not immediately available.
Qualifications for Extruder Operator:
