As a senior analyst, the candidate must also have the ability to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously, work well as a team member, and work efficiently and independently, accountable and responsible for his/her work, estimates and schedule. Exceptional analytic and problem solving skills with a strong background and experience with the MS Office Suite, various Oracle EBS versions, Oracle database queries and utilities, and/or reporting software to perform analysis. The position requires exceptional attention to details.


Responsibilities

1.     Actively monitor Tier 2 Help Desk ticket queue, triage and assign tickets to other functional/technical analysts as needed.

2.     Provide Tier 2 functional support and incident management for Oracle EBS production application, interacting directly with the end-users, client application administrators, and functional and technical resources as needed.

3.     Perform preliminary troubleshooting to determine if reported problems are expected standard or customized functionality or unexpected exceptions/defects.

4.     Document problems reported including problem summary, relevant error messages, and all steps required to recreate the problem and transactional examples (e.g., invoice, item, customer/party number, request ID, etc.); Reproduce/demonstrate problem and expected results to technical resources as needed.

5.     Coordinate with the customer focal points to ensure defects/improvements are properly prioritized, and the pipeline and release scope/schedule reflects the same at all times.

6.     Lead and assist in user group meetings, defect/improvement ticket prioritization, reporting, and tracking; Document quality and timely meeting minutes.

7.     Lead effort with the client to develop clear, complete, accurate, and quality requirements documentation that can be easily understood in plain English and tested against during QA and UAT

8.     Develop detailed, quality MD.050 with straightforward but effective solutions for reports, interfaces, alerts, workflows and extensions; Work with technical developers and Solution Architect to ensure designs are complete and accurate.

9.     Provide accurate estimates on functional designs and testing efforts.

10.  Perform functional unit and quality assurance testing for solutions against approved requirements and document results.

11.  Assist/coordinate user acceptance testing.

12.  Develop, maintain, and execute application check lists and work instructions.

13.  Develop and maintain application test scripts for patch/release regression testing.

14.  Apply application configurations to the system, including DFFs and extensible attributes and document application configurations (BR100).

15.  Assist in production release coordination/communication activities with project manager, system infrastructure, and internal customers.

16.  Be available for after-hours production release/patch and support activities as needed.

17.  Perform other duties as may be assigned by management.


Qualifications

1.     Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience.

2.     Hands-on experience implementing and/or supporting Oracle Applications v11.5 – 12.2.x with demonstrated experience with Oracle Financials (Payables, Receivables, GL/SLA, Collections, Cash Management) and Trade Management.

3.     Experience with procurement modules a plus (Sourcing, Purchasing, iProcurement).

4.     Strong knowledge and experience with demonstrated ability to create timely, thorough, clear and feasible MD.050 design specifications for reports, interfaces, alerts, workflows and extensions.

5.     Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service in the most challenging environment.

6.     Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to produce required training and/or procedural (work instruction) documentation.

7.     SQL*Plus and Discoverer working knowledge with ability to construct simple database queries a plus.

8.     Experience with at least one packaged help desk/ticket tracking application.
