Successful Hardware Technicians in our team can work independently, multi-task effectively across projects, and are comfortable working in a lab environment.



Core Job Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Assembly build for test racks and components
  • Prepare test racks and components for thermal and electrical testing
  • Setup, manage, and maintain Transportation Systems R&D labs and on-site equipment
  • Equipment and inventory management
  • Build custom cabling
  • PCB assembly and rework



Basic Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience using Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong mechanical knowledge
  • Five+ years working in a Hardware Technician role



Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building, troubleshooting, and validating electromechanical systems
  • Exhibits initiative and persistence to overcome obstacles in order to meet project goals
  • Team player who works well with team-mates and other internal groups
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize work and to perform multiple tasks simultaneously while adhering to deadlines
  • Experience using LabVIEW for measurement and automation preferred
