Position Overview:

As an Environmental/Stormwater Compliance Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting our commitment to environmental stewardship and regulatory compliance. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about environmental sustainability to embark on a rewarding career within a Fortune 500 company.


Responsibilities:

  1. Stormwater Management: Assist in the development and implementation of stormwater management plans for construction sites, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  2. NPDES Compliance: Support the preparation and submission of NPDES permit applications. Monitor and report on compliance with permit requirements, and assist in the development of strategies to address any non-compliance issues.
  3. Environmental Audits: Participate in environmental compliance audits to assess the effectiveness of stormwater control measures and identify areas for improvement. Work collaboratively with project teams to implement corrective actions.
  4. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of environmental compliance activities. Prepare and submit regular reports to regulatory agencies as required.
  5. Training and Communication: Assist in the development and delivery of environmental compliance training programs for project teams. Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to promote awareness of environmental regulations and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of stormwater management principles and NPDES regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to analyze data and generate reports.
