Job Summary

The Bolton Group is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Compliance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our environmental team, you will play a critical role in supporting our commitment to environmental stewardship and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Stormwater Management: Develop and implement stormwater management plans for construction sites, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  2. NPDES Compliance: Support the preparation and submission of NPDES permit applications, monitor and report on compliance with permit requirements, and develop strategies to address any non-compliance issues.
  3. Environmental Audits: Participate in environmental compliance audits to assess the effectiveness of stormwater control measures and identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with project teams to implement corrective actions.
  4. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of environmental compliance activities. Prepare and submit regular reports to regulatory agencies as required.
  5. Training and Communication: Develop and deliver environmental compliance training programs for project teams. Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to promote awareness of environmental regulations and best practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of stormwater management principles and NPDES regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to analyze data and generate reports.
  • Knowledge of relevant environmental laws and regulations.
