Environmental Health Specialist

Job Summary:
My Florida Corp Defunct is seeking a highly skilled Environmental Health Specialist to join our team. As an Environmental Health Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental health regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect establishments regulated by the Division for compliance with statutes and rules relative to licensure, sanitation, and other safety or regulatory requirements.
- Conduct preliminary investigations to assist in determination of legal sufficiency.
- Testify at court, administrative hearings, and interact with the department, legal, the State Attorneys Offices, and other regulatory agencies.
- Serve administrative complaints and subpoenas as deemed appropriate.
- Present at speaking engagements, before groups of consumers, in regard to the department's regulated professions, the complaint process, and preventing unlicensed activity.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in environmental health, public health, or a regulatory-related field.
- Associate's degree (in any field) & 2 years or more years of environmental health, public health, inspection, or regulatory-related experience.
- Four (4) or more years of environmental health, public health, inspection, or regulatory-related experience can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required education.
