Integrity Compliance Specialist

Job Summary
At Health First, we are seeking a highly skilled Integrity Compliance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our corporate integrity program, you will be responsible for maintaining knowledge of corporate integrity issues and staying current on trends and developments in the field. Your duties will include conducting monitoring and audit initiatives, providing recommendations and guidance to enhance organizational corporate integrity and minimize risk, and taking ownership of routine duties and assigned projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate, direct, and resolve compliance issues through appropriate existing channels.
- Organize, implement, and effectively meet the 7 Elements of the Compliance Program specific to guidelines adopted by both the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services and the Office of Inspector General.
- Implement effective monitoring of compliance indicators to oversee high-risk areas and report areas of interest or concern to leadership.
- Identify the types and quantity of information needed to complete assigned audit tasks, analyze it within the context of the audit objectives, and formulate appropriate subsequent actions and recommendations.
- Document relevant facts and information to support the audit and conclusions.
- Calculate and report findings and observations in a clear manner, identifying high-risk areas for further auditing.
- Document and track incidents appropriately and provide updates and summarizing compliance activities and events monthly in clear and concise written reports.
- Identify process improvements and areas of interest or potential risk and communicate points through clearly written correspondence or Compliance Memorandums.
- Design, develop, and support compliance-based training and education curriculum to promote the integrity program and enhance organizational compliance.
- Analyze and interpret government regulations to acquire and maintain knowledge.
- Assist in assessing impact on current processes, review, create, and/or revise policies and procedures, and assist with education accordingly.
